121 people have been pulled out from the rubble SO FAR
according to the UN

At the max point of rescue there were 52 teams that were made up by 1,820 personnel and 175 dogs.

And no, we were by far NOT the majority of that personnel either... this is a world wide effort.

Good job for the Rescue teams... whether from Fairfax, Poland, Peru or Mexico... GOOD JOB guys and gals...

Oh and they are still pulling some people out, we are at the stage of amazing, especially the 22 month old pulled out just today by a Mexican team.

2. That's astounding...
Rescue operations are hugely time and labour intensive. I said this in another post, but I'll repeat it here. I think back to when Baby Jessica fell down a well, back in 1987 (?). It took dozens of rescue workers using heavy equipment almost 60 hours to save 1 little girl. To get 121 out of the rubble is fantastic.

Kudos to the SAR teams.

Sid

4. On the worrisome tone, the second wave might be here
the Panaramerican Health Organization is now monitoring for possible Malaria Epidemic disease.

I am sure Cholera and a few others are not that far behind.

Second wave and all that.

11. You are not a cynic. The US MSM feeds on any disaster they can
find and make up one if they cannot find a real one. What a mess our nation is in. Thanks for the info.

9. What's amazing is listening to the members of the US military
and rescue teams correcting the media hacks who are pushing this USA USA BS and reminding them that there are teams from all over the world. I find that refreshing.
