Wow Cindy McCain! I'm actually impressed....

http://www.bouska.net/noh8/index.htm

In the year since we've started the NOH8 Campaign, we've often been surprised at some of the different individuals who have approached us showing their support. Few, though, have surprised us more than Cindy McCain - the wife of Senator John McCain and mother to vocal marriage equality advocate Meghan McCain.

:applause:

2. Sometimes people surprise you, huh? I knew Meghan was part
of NOH8, I guess she influenced Cindy. Good for them both.

4. Johnny's seat is dead-solid safe even with a high-profile possible challenger. Still, kudos
to her from someone who has bitterly criticized her in the past.

6. Is it wrong of me to hope that John is annoyed by it?
After all, Cindy McCain is saying more with duct tape over her mouth than she ever did on the campaign trail.

5. So, Meghan McCain, Cindy McCain,...
Ted Olson are all for marriage equality. And the Obamas? Seriously this is getting sad now.

9. that's true - issues of concern to gay people USED to be THE benchmark issue, definining left/right
orientation - not so much now, I guess, which is progress, I suppose.

Good on Cindy! :)

8. Pukes ONLY come out for something like this (liberal) when it affects them PERSONALLY.
Remember how the Dick went ballistic when his daughter's sexual preference was referenced? Some interpreted that to be support for gay rights, when he was just upset that someone mentioned his little girls "perversity."

While it is a positive that someone supports marriage equality, I would be be very suspicious of any support from the dark side.

And they get no credit for doing the decent thing. They should have been there all along.

17. You hit the nail right on the head
They only care if it affects them or someone they know (abortion, gay rights, health care, etc.) - otherwise, they don't give a shit.
