Dylan Ratigan ...
Edited on Wed Jan-20-10 05:00 PM by slipslidingaway
'If you transfer all the risk to the government and keep all the revenue, isn't that theft."

He was just speaking about the bonuses for the financial group, Goldman Sachs is expected to pay half of their revenue out in bonuses.

:applause:

1. Sure you could call it that. But I prefer to call it an exciting new business model.
that's revolutionizing industries, from high finance to insurance and real estate.

3. And he's brave enough to speak truth to power.

Too bad that his new show is in such an awkward time slot, but at least the good thing is that he didn't get sacked (as I was afraid when his morning show first was reduced to 1 hr, and then got discontinued). I really dig the guy, he's really good on certain issues. I like his blog on HuffPo, too: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/dylan-ratigan

cancelled by CNBC, glad he was picked up by MSNBC.

7. Was that before or after he blamed the unions for poor health care delivery?
Ratigan is a right wing puke trying to rehabilitate the failed values of the fools that got us where we are.

11. He was not for this WS bailout when Bush was president, this is not a ...
fight that suddenly materialized when the Dems took control a year ago, just something to keep in mind.

The writing was on the wall regarding Bush - he and Scarborough are running a scam and anyone that buys into their line is a sucker.

22. May I make a suggestion ...
post the video and or transcripts in another thread so people can discuss that particular segment.

Some people believe that they have to accept or condemn the entire person instead of looking at individual issues, I am not one of them.

18. Who is Dylan Ratigan?
I know, I know...Google. I will.

Hope this is someone important. People have been saying essentially what is quoted in the OP. Why do I have the feeling this is some radio host people have hitched their wagons to. I'll see.

23. He hosts a shown on MSNBC and had hosted a show on CNBC ...
he was one of the few to call into question the recent wealth transfer to the banks when it was happening.

No need to hitch your wagon to anyone, just make a judgement if you agree or disagree issue by issue.

;-)

24. He's a Republican shill trying to harness populist anger and aim it at the Dms
He and Joe Scarborough hatched and launched the strategy when they saw the backlash from the Bush/Cheney debacle.

He pushes nothing but repackaged Ronnie Raygun economics.

make up their own minds.

He has put a lot of blame on Paulson in the past, maybe he is a registered Dem.
