1. Keep up the truthtelling, Dean!
You've done an exemplary job for We, The People, and I pray for your strength to keep it up in what must be very discouraging circumstances.

2. I'll have to watch it @ 4pm
But recommended for Dr Dean hitting back at all of the ridiculous spin. I haven't been able to watch any news because the spin was making me nauseous.

5. Tweets jumps on the bandwagon.
In 1942 Matthews would have backed the Axis, by late 1944 Matthews would have been with the allies.

9. Tweety doesn't get it.
If I understood Dean correctly, he said his polling last night (after the election) showed 18%
of Democrats voted for Brown in order to send a message to Obama in favor of the public
option and other economic and policy concerns. What Tweety didn't seem to get is that two
groups voted for Brown for different reasons.

12. Dean totally blew it in one respect, though
Tweety kept asking why people would vote against Martha Coakley because they wanted a public option and she said she was for the public option. He did well pointing to their polling data that showed the Obama voters who went for Brown or stayed home were those who wanted a public option. But, as Tweety kept saying why would they not vote for her when she was for the more progressive bill and supported a public option, the answer is there is no public option in the Senate bill and she said she would vote for the Senate bill. The polling that showed people who did not vote for her were the ones who wanted a public option was about the fact that she said she would vote for the bill, which everyone knows, does not have and will not have a public option in it. She was ahead when she, initially, said she would vote against the Senate bill. She tanked after she was pressured by the WH to say she would vote for the bill.

and spittle at mind numbing speed.

18. True but they all need to hear that Coakley was winning when she opposed the Senate bill
that was too conservative for a lot of the MA voters.

13. I was surprised though that Dean had such difficulty clearly stating what the polling showed
Why didn't he just say, those polled stated that they were sending a message to DC that they want REAL HCR that includes a public option or single payer, and not the sellout to the Health Insurance industry the Senate had devised. Tweety was having difficulty, or at least pretending to have difficulty, understanding the voter message being detailed by Dean. Somewhat of a missed opportunity, I hope Dean composes a more coherent response between now and next appearance, wherever/whenever that may be.

than Tweety who's spinning like a top.

19. Joan Walsh just totally pulled it off
She just ate Tweety's lunch. She said it was garbage that Obama bowed to his left and that this bill was a corporate giveaway. And she said it didn't matter that Coakley said she was for the public option when the voters knew the public option was already dead in this bill.
