Well one thing Obama has excelled at, Demoralizing Progressive voters..
He is staying true to form....No health care reform only tax cuts and tort reform.....That is all Republicans will allow and I am not even sure they will go for that if Obama has anything to do with it...

1. Exactly. he is losing a significant part of his winning coalition.
In a moment some posters will be along to blame progressives for having standards and expecting a seat at the table. They are wrong of course.

It is the candidate and the party's responsibility to build and maintain support. It is not the duty or the responsibility of a voter to stay loyal because of a label.

There were as many Liberals as conservative in 2000, it was the Centrists that put Bush* into office and now it is the Centrists that will boot Democrats from office. They will not allow good legislation to be passed..
