I won't be presumptious and call myself a part of the Democratic Base but
I am a strong Liberal and have voted Democratic for over forty five years. Democrats are on the verge of losing me as a voter..I am angry. The people that brought our nation to both economic ruin (Goldman Sachs, AIG, Stanley Morgan, Bank of America, etc) and spiritual ruin (Pat Robertson, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Hannity, O'Really, etc.)will never be held accountable nor openly condemned and shamed. I am angry that Cheney is allowed to go on National TV and say Torture is good for America without being contested in the slightest. I am angry and they are oblivious to that fact..Democrats have bigger worries than Health Care Reform, They have to worry about losing mine and like minded people's vote..

2. Fewer Dem votes = greater probability of more teabagger wins
I cannot believe how many people cannot understand this simple concept.

3. There is a difference??????
I am sorry but I don't see it. More War in Afghanistan, No less war in Iraq, no accountability for anyone.. How again do they differ from those on the right?

5. Where are the leaders?
Where are the leaders that take what we feel and say and plant that flag proudly on a mountaintop?

Why are we continually supposed to hold our noses and "do it, whatever it is, anyway"?

Why does the Democratic leadership disrespect their base in a way that would never happen amongst Republicans?

How do you expect that we will win elections, by caving in on everything?

6. They don't want to understand.
They'd rather stick their fingers in their ears and shout "They're all the same!" than actually take a look at the past administration and remember the difference.

7. Hey you get what you pay for...
I have been what some would call a very loyal Democrat even though I am not a Democrat at all but an Independent. I have always voted for the Democrats and with Democrats but things change..Ever hear that word, CHANGE? You can lay blame all you wish but that does not solve this problem.. Is there a way for Democrats to once again gin my confidence? I will wait and see, but am not optimistic about it from the direction Obama is now leaning.

8. How do you propose holding Pat Robertson and Rush Limbaugh accountable?
Moreover, why would you help Pat Robertson and Rush Limbaugh by leaving the Democratic party, if you were really so upset by them?

9. Look, Boys and Girls, in three more years, another generation of children vote.
We must BAND TOGETHER and in doing so, the tide will turn hard. We MUST keep control, or fascism is the result. Our numbers at the end of an Obama two fer, with immigrants and gays and women, everyone but the white privileged minority.
