I don't. In fact, I would rather this bill be as partisan as possible, because any GOP influence is almost certainly for the worse.

The GOP is bad news. But they're also a minority.

So why the fuck are we catering to them? To appease some group of "moderates" somewhere? To appease corporate stooges?

It's sickening that a Congress can be bought and paid for by a bunch of lobbyists-often the SAME lobbyists on both the Republican and the Democratic sides.

I don't know why the Dems are so afraid of a filibuster anyway. Let the GOP be a month long billboard for obstructionism, arrogance, and callous disregard for the people. While they dig in their heels, the Dems can bang away at them for it.
