2. Might seem to be a positive thing.......

until you realize that "in the works" usually means capitulating to the GOP's demands and watering down his original promises. Also "compromise" usually means a gigantic cave-in to the GOP as well.

On their "Top 25" promises there hasn't been much progress, just a bunch of "in the works". A BIG "promise kept" for expanding the war in Afghanistan. :eyes: Oh, and the epic fail for lobbyist reform. :(

All in all, this is not a report card I'd be proud of, but he's only one year into his term and I HOPE (there's that word again) that things get a LOT better in the near future. :)

If he doesn't cease his march to the right, though, I believe we can kiss goodbye any gains in the future. Of course that's just my opinion. Your mileage may vary. :shrug:
