"Tomorrow, the Supreme Court has scheduled a special session at 10am. No one is quite sure what the court is going to announce, but it’s probably going to be something BIG. In fact, it’s probably going to be the decision in a court case that I’ve been watching for some time, Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission."

10. And Thus Ends Any Campaign Finance Reform...

Somehow this court equates freedom of speech with the amount of money in one's bank account...the more you have, the more you're entitled to.

Sadly, this will open the door to nastier campaigns with third parties throwing all sorts of money around. A shame that those who are supposed to defend our democracy will put a price tag on it.
