The choice was searingly clear. An accomplished liberal Democrat, the state's Attorney General, who stood for health care, women's issues, regulation of the finance industry, military restraint in the Middle East, and a host of other issues that define Massachusetts, against a state senator who embodies political mediocrity and stands pretty much for most of the same positions as George Bush and the obstructionist, feed-the-rich and damn-the-rest, let-New-Orleans-rot, anti-health-plan Republicans in Congress.

1. The thing is confidence.
Stuff like taking the last two weeks of the campaign off for vacation. And of course pissing off Independents and Progressives. Hubris. Stupidity.

2. Because people aren't educated or take the time to learn issues
they depend on the department of shoveled "conclusions" from Fox and Lintball and his many minions upchucking these half baked ideas that are completely misleading.
