I don't know his politics (besides Party) but he believes his FORD side is "impressive," which might be a sign of cluelessness.

Vincent Morgan has an uphill battle to unseat Harlem Rep. Charles Rangel -- he can't even get the support of his look-alike cousin, Harold Ford Jr., who is weighing a challenge against that other pillar of the Democratic Party establishment, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand. ....
"Morgan did not find out about his illustrious father until his early teens and finally met the Ford family during his years studying at Howard University in DC."
Morgan told Kaufman, "There may be a lot of impressive people in my family, but I am not running as a Ford, I am running as my own man." ....
The cousins occasionally bump into each other, but aren't close. While Harold, his cousins and Morgan's 15 half-siblings were at prep school, "I grew up poor," Morgan said. "I dropped out of high school and got some help by people who believed in me."
