Guess what, not EVERY thread posted is worth EITHER a Rec OR an UnReKKK!1 And I myself said many times during the Great Debate on UnReKKK that I never look at the Greatest Page and regard it mostly as a tool for Visitors, like media types, who don't have the time to delve through the entrails of DU, but how I DO a lot of Rec-ing (obviously, for OTHERS), both for merit and to keep worthy topics from falling through the cracks.

5. Wow, your post contains two assumptions and an embedded implication in your question

which is a LOT for such a brief post!1



1) The implication of "truth" in the SS-cutting threads in your question ("Is the story untrue?") is contradicted by the links that say there will be a commission for studying budget reduction, not implementing cuts, as Cali pointed out in some of those threads.

2) Assumption, I misspelled. Well, misspelling carries a connotation of inadvertence. I typed what I intended to type for my own reasons, which I have responded to a few other times----oh, might as well do it just for you: My negative marks, such as KKKarl (ROVE), are for wingnuts. As for using it with UnReKKKers, I limit my use to those (don't know how many, one or MANY?!1) who daily, habitually, FREQUENTLY use the Unrec function MALICIOUSLY, on threads that are NOT anti-Democratic. The motives of this person or persons are highly suspect, and therefore I will SLUR this person or persons any way I can.

In point 1 of your response you lead with an explanation of why you believe the story to be over-blown/misunderstood (am I characterizing that correctly? honest question). Perhaps leading with that will gain more traction for your objective than leading with mocking cartoons and allegations of racism.

Can you really believe that I said that ONLY *MY* threads are UnReKKKed and that your explanation for MY being UnReKKKed is because of MY combatativeness?!1


I've responded to the KKK part before, and partly in my post to you above. I'll do it again for you: The literal KuKluxKlan part I use for wingnuts like KKKarl whom I really believe ARE racists at their core no matter how much they disguise it.


For the MALICIOUS (not "normal" UnRec-ers) UnReKKKers, I can't explain their MALICIOUS use of the function for the MANY threads that are LEGITIMATE discussion topics in a Democratic board. They UnReKKK topics that are in NO WAY anti-Democratic. Therefore, to me, they are SUSPECT and MALICIOUS, and therefore I will SLUR them, the way I will any wingnut----LIMBOsevic or BecKKK or Hannity or whomever.

You, like the other two people I explained this to focus on ANY use of the Unrec function. I am focusing on the MALICIOUS user.

any time I see attacks-of-whatever-intensity on ANY Democratic Party member, of whatever stripe including anybody from one end of the Democratic spectrum to the other----"Moderate" Dems to "Socialist" Dems, anything in between.

Believe me, the conservative Dems drive me as wild as anybody. After what we have gone through, not only in 8 yrs of Shrub, but thoughout our lives with Rethugs, I don't like attacks on most other Dems. However, I reserve my frequent attacks on Joementum and others.
