1. In simple terms, before this ruling a Company had limits set on the
amount of money it could contribute to a campaign.

This has been lifted and opens up total and complete rule
by Corporations.

A company can now see a candidate who may not be so Business
Friendly and decide literally to take him/her out. Pour
money to the opposition candidate and run their own adds
against the candidate.

The Supreme Court has essentially forced Congress to suck
up and bow down to Corporations or lose your seat. Find
a candidate who is better at giving Corporations everything
they want.

Goodbye Democracy.

It is past time for Activists to get serious in forming an
effective Progressive Movement--or kiss the Democratic Party
goodbye. This does not give the Centrists an excuse to become
more Republican. They must become more Democratic in order
to save our Democracy.

2. Well said. I was arguing with a few people on Facebook this morning about this
they maintained that the ruling: a). made no difference, or b). was a good thing because corporations would be forced to identify themselves in ads (?). I had to unfriend one of them for utter stupidity. I agree; we need to get serious, form a new party (I'm afraid that that's what it will take) and start pushing back in every way possible. Enough is enough!

So much wasted time :(
