Are the majority of the Nation's Corporations basically Republican
or are they just out for themselves? If it comes to just partisanship, are there as many Democrat friendly corporation as Republican? I would think with America on the verge of a "Green tech" explosion and the Democrats hold substantial Majorities many Corporations would cover their bases..To be too political can't be good business. The country is pretty evenly divided and business wouldn't want to turn off half of their possible customer base..I don't think this is going to be as harmful as some fear..There are Corporations that are entirely partisan though such as Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, O'Really, and Hannity. They are all Incorporated for liability concerns, and financial advantages.

1. Yes. And the most powerful ones almost always are.
They want nothing to interfer with their ability to treat the nation, people and the environment as their own private buffet.

2. Pure self interest above politics
They want a nice even divide, with no one side holding too much power. Thay way they can lobby to support the party out of power with money and such in exchange for legislative favor. When that side is in power, they turn around and support the ones out of power to do the same thing. Its a cycle that results in more and more political favors being laid at their feet.

8. Do you own a TV?
Have you noticed ads against health care reform? Who do you think paid for those ads? You seem to think this ruling is going to allow them to do something they aren't doing now..They are already paying for legislation...Now they can pay for movies that are partisan as well..Like Michael Moore couldn't already do that...

4. Only when you consider politics and governance as nothing more than a team spectacle.
Unfortunately, that is all too common.

6. They are sociopaths...
...which certainly does look a lot like your typical modern Republican, but it is mostly because corporations are not human and have no interest in anything that doesn't involve revenue and costs. Health care, war, laws, privacy, justice, pride in America; these things mean nothing to corporations, except in how they affect the balance sheet. Only the balance sheet matters.
