I am guessing that the turmoil going on at the RNC is how do we NOT turn these over if there are folks out there that have copies(hard/electronic) that may trade them for more lenient sentences?

And if the RNC decides to comply and turn them over, it is the biggest scandal in history eclipsing the Nixon resignation.

If only the RNC knew what the Democratically controlled Committees already know ....

This is likely the 'make or break' issue.

PS. IF the RNC decides to comply, they will have to completely disassociate themselves from everything Bush/Rove and suffer the political consequences for years to come.

1. That's funny...
...the RNC complying instead of stonewalling.

Thanks for the laugh...

2. I don't think we'll ever see them....
I believe this sham of an investigation just launched by the O.S.C. is just that....a sham. I think they want to get hold of any damaging information before Waxman or the democratic congress gets it, so they can whitewash this whole thing in the administration's favor.

3. I agree. This "investigation" is more about providing cover for
a thorough scrubbing of the crime scene. It also provides some political cover for the Bush Administration, allowing them to do something akin to those GOP Congressional "investigations" of WMD intel. They'll do their thing for awhile and announce they've found nothing, and the Hannities will quack that line forever.
