as American corporations to spend money to tilt U.S. elections.

So China can dump as much money as it wants into American political campaigns!!

Oh boy! This is getting good!

I wish I were just watching and not sitting here in the middle of the boiling pot.

(By the way, American individuals are still limited in how much they can contribute. Only corporations are free of limits. Unions are not specified in the decision either.)

1. Freedom!
...for oppressed giant corporations. Our form of democracy was nice while it lasted.

2. What I don't get is why the freepers are so damned delighted with this.

Seems it destroys their power the same as it does us.

3. When a freeper gets rate-jacked to 27%, do they write a thank you note?

4. Because they think they'll get something out of it
But then again most who collaborate with an enemy always think they'll get something.

7. So in effect...this country will not be independent at all.
Edited on Thu Jan-21-10 01:52 PM by BrklynLiberal
The government will be the paid agents of what ever corporation...from what ever country ..that can pay the most..
We will probably become a wholly owned subsidiary of China....altho, I think we have already achieved that status with the
all the money the Chinese have lent our government..
But now..it can be ANY country with enough money who can own us.

Maybe Great Britain will want to buy us back.
Or Germany or Japan...since they could not win us in the war.
Or maybe some rich Middle Eastern Prince will buy us as a plaything for his latest wife.

There will be corporate decals on the American flag....like the NASCAR racers wear on their jackets!!!!

x( :puke: :eyes:  :silly: :wtf: :argh: :spank: :grr: :nuke: :scared:    :banghead:
