Idea: As Credit Union *members*, can we petition them to buy ads to shut down corporate personhood?
Since:

1) Now Credit Unions have no restrictions being "persons" themselves, much like other companies.
2) Now many of us are moving our money from the big banks to credit unions for other reasons as well.
3) We are arguably "owners" of the credit union, even if only a small part of it.

Arguably as part owners of credit unions when being members, can't we unify together for a petition to each of the credit unions or even to the credit union associations to buy ads to help campaign for a constitutional amendment shutting down corporate personhood? Now they might not want to take a stance that could be viewed as "political", but if we can get some unifying messages (like China banks and businesses being able to control our politicians), it might actually bring them in more customers, and if this amendment gets put in place, they might feel more empowered against other larger banks in the marketplace too.

Add to that, this is an area where we can use our assets to work for us, since our money is cumulatively what gives them strength, and arguably gives us strength as well in fighting against this move to fascism.

1. Of course
You can petition anything you want. However, most credit unions are set up such that members do not vote on such matters directly; instead, members elect the officers, who make the business decisions. So you would simply have to vote in a new slate of officers who would undertake such campaigning. The tricky part, of course, would be convincing a voting majority of your fellow members to do likewise!
