The conflicting visions of the corporate elite (and their tools in Washington)
Edited on Thu Jan-21-10 04:26 PM by Fumesucker
The first vision of the corporate elite is that they want a large third world labor force in the USA that they can freely exploit for pennies a day.

The second vision, one that diametrically conflicts with the first, is that the corporate elites want a vigorous and well paid middle class that can afford to purchase their goods and services in large quantities.

They really can't have both, at some point the corporate elites will have to make up their minds which of the two visions they intend on pursuing.

I fear that if push comes to shove, and it will, they will choose the first option.

Edited for speling.

2. They really don't need us to purchase their crap anymore
There are several billion people on the planet, especially in developing nations where the Ruling Class has been raping resources/labor for decades.

300+ million Americans v 6+ billion 'others'

Do the math

3. They need *someone*...
If the entire world is made up of serfs there will be no one to buy their stuff.

6. It doesn't matter where they choose them from, they don't want to PAY them.
Whether they're choosing a middle class from 350,000,000 or 7,000,000,000 or 35,000,000,000,000,000,000 They don't want to cut the fucking checks period, but they still want to be able to sell shit.
