Because if it's US comapnies only, that rules out most of the biggies...they're all registered in tax havens.

1. Apparently. I read that somewhere. |
|
Corporations, both foreign and domestic, and unions. Maybe we can start global unions now and they can meddle in our politics like corporations do.

6. And you'd see Senators and Congressmen take the money, too. When there's |
|
money to be had, there's nothing they wouldn't stoop to.

5. From what I understand, yes, foreign corporations can |
|
now meddle in our elections. Question I have is, which corporations are extensions of foreign governments?

Frankly, that doesn't seem to matter. They are well on their way to being bigger and more dangerous than any government.
This is what privatizing has always been about: moving control away from democratic institutions and putting it into the hands of the rich.
Just a new kind of dictatorship. One which can control ALL governments.
Three decades of lionizing anyone with money has brought us here.

9. Frankly, that wouldn't matter so much. Americans would be unlikely to believe THOSE lies. |
