COURIC just said Senator TreasureTrail rode a wave of "anger" JUST LIKE Obama!1

Uh, I hated Shrub for 8 yrs and that didn't help get him out, and I still do and always will. But my memory is that President OBAMA rode a wave of ENTHUSIASM into victory a year ago.


For some reason, despite my having defended COURIC over the years when she has been attacked as a wingnut, defended her because of her family background in Dem politics, and despite her PALIN interview during Campaign '08 getting ever more "important" the farther back it time it goes, I have seldom watched her news reading show. Today I thought about this, about having actually seen Diane SAWYER more (a half dozen times) than COURIC, and thought it was unfair of me, and tuned in, and this is what I got!1 Come to think it, I detested her having had LIMBOsevic on her debut as Reader.

9. People were freakin PISSED at Bush and the repubs.

The fact that Obama is charismatic just added to the perfect storm where Obama clobbered Mccaine.
People were hoping for somebody, ANYBODY, to vote for instead of the repubs.

My daughter still finds it funny that Bush is the only one who could bring the right and the left together against a common foe.
