1. Elections Have Consequences

Truer words were never spoken.

I like to think that if John Kerry had been President, he would have filled those seats vacated by Renquist and O'Conner with justices on the side of good. Sure, we may have been disappointed in him on many things just as we now are in President Obama, but the Bush legacy will be around for quite some time.

Don't think there's no difference between Republicans and Democrats - although with this new ruling, it may get harder to tell.
