Flogging the ruling in the media would probably earn him a whole lot of support.

Unfortunately, I just don't think he's going to do that. For some reason.

1. He'd rather be 'bipartisan'. We know what he wants. It's not us. nt

2. Well let's give him every chance and encouragement to do so

Because if he doesn't it's going to be a long fucking three years, followed by the return of Republican Hell on Earth.
It will not hurt you any to give him that chance.

3. Again, a baseless attack on Obama.... his statement about the ruling was blunt and PERFECT

...and dont be surprised if he touches on it during the SOTU speech next week.

6. here's the statement
"With its ruling today, the Supreme Court has given a green light to a new stampede of special interest money in our politics. It is a major victory for big oil, Wall Street banks, health insurance companies and the other powerful interests that marshal their power every day in Washington to drown out the voices of everyday Americans. This ruling gives the special interests and their lobbyists even more power in Washington--while undermining the influence of average Americans who make small contributions to support their preferred candidates. That's why I am instructing my Administration to get to work immediately with Congress on this issue. We are going to talk with bipartisan Congressional leaders to develop a forceful response to this decision. The public interest requires nothing less."

7. That's a good start.
We need to see real action on this, though, not just talk.

9. There's always amending the Constitution.
Which, as difficult as it is to do, would not be out of line for an issue such as this.

That's for sure.
