a silver lining? the SCOTUS over-reaching today has remobilized the Left within 10 hours
and is dominating the airwaves. The rage that took eight years, from denial to fury, to mobilize the Left and a lot of the Center during Bush, just got triggered only three days after many were focused on Obama's weakness and the renewal of the right wing.

This decision is horrible.

But I haven't seen this much anger and mobilization in 10 hours since the Iraq War began.

17. it keeps me going. as long as the internet is free, we can still do
something. I grew up in a real America and I feel like I slipped into an alternative reality that isn't mine. I love you all tonight. This has been a very bitter day to this older 'gal'. I always hoped that the America you would have would be even better. :(

be well advised to fight as hard as he can right now.

but judging from the past year I don't see it happening. I hope he pushes for real health care reform now, because this might be the last chance for it.

10. I'm thinking it's going to mobilize everyone, except the teabaggers.
This is a fascist coup, and from what I'm hearing I think everyone knows it, or will at least eventually know it.

Impeaching Roberts is mandatory IMO. Coups are still unconstitutional in America.

Hoping there will be a groundswell of support for the Constitutional Amendment. Until then, some of Grayson's bills may slow them down a while.

Course, I guess 2004 just seemed like a continuation of 2000.

25. I find myself thinking that Bush/Cheney probably trusted no one and must
have done their share of snooping on the Supremes. I wonder what dirt the FBI has on Scalia et al whether anyone with the ability to exploit it would have the guts to expose it.

31. Remobilized?
90% of DU has given in and decided we can never win. "Woe is me, I'm off to Canada/Sweden/Mexico" hardly qualifies as mobilized.
