A Freeper reacts to the SCOTUS decision
The dregs of humanity once again open their mouths:

"Yeah well good luck with that Chuckie Cheese.

The only way the lame brains in Congress can overturn a Supreme Court decision is through a Constitutional Amendment so good luck with that.

Oh yeah and HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA.

Bring it on Sarah. Big corporate money is going to be flowing BIG TIME into Palin’s coffers.

Can you say $2Billion war chest for 2012? I thought you could.

Just wait until Wall Street saddles up to Sarah. Barry wants a WAR with Wall Street?

You got it Barry, and Wall Street is going to KICK YOUR SORRY A$$ BACK TO KENYA IN A NEW YORK MINUTE!!!!

What a GREAT WEEK FOR AMERICA!!!"

1. these people are too stupid to realize their rights have been stolen
and they really think the corporations are going to thank them for their loyalty and help in destroying their rights.

10. Oh please, please have some wonderful corporation dump some toxic waste in that idiot's back yard,
or deny HIS kid life saving health care, or send HIS job to China, or gut HIS retirement fund due to the banksters continued antics.

The list of potential corporate "love" for this guy's loyalty is almost endless.

2. I take some solace in knowing that people like this will be suffering right alongside the rest
as a result of their own ignorance and ineptitude.

How does the old saying go? Be careful what you wish for.

17. I think people like the Freeper posted here are too stupid to realize they are being pwned.
Corporations good. Corporations = Free Markets. Free markets always good. Rush says so. DITTO!

That's the sad truth about many of these people.

3. The teaparties are part of this.
They now have the means to set this country back to the 18th century where they want it to be.
:argh:

4. They are failing to see that the corporations don't give money for nothing
If they are going to shell out huge amounts of money, they will get it back tenfold from the taxpayers in the form of subsidies and any other scams they can come up with. And money doesn't buy votes, a candidate can have all the money they want, it doesn't guarantee a win.

5. Corporations still can't contribute to a campaign
But they can but advertising for the campaign. At least they have to let us know that they are the ones putting the message on. But they can't contribute directly to a campaign or a candidate. However, the advertising, repeated ad nauseaum will work on the freepers.

14. Is that true? That they have to tell us they are behind the message?
I'm not certain it is.

7. I was so damn mad about the SCOTUS decision this morning
I was ranting about how we might as well all become Republicans. What the hell. We don't need no stinkin' health care, education, jobs or social services. Let the "take back my country" idiots take it back for awhile and see how long it takes before grandma is dying in the streets and the little embryos brought to term are starving to death because no one can afford to buy food. It'll be paradise for the freepers until their parents kick them out of the basement because they've lost their house to medical bankruptcy. Of course, this was sarcasm to the max (sympathize with my poor husband who would love to eat his blueberry-topped pancakes in peace), but I must find a place today where I can yell and scream at the top of my lungs without being hauled away as a crazy person.

8. Alas, all of the outcomes you mention would be blamed on "liberals".
It's tempting to go with "let them suffer from the results of their own foolishness", except that (a) we will suffer too, and (b) we will be blamed - count on it.

It is amazing to me the degree to which all the cards are stacked in favor of conservatives - this SCOTUS decision and the rule that Dems need 60 votes in the Senate whereas republicans need only 50 are just the most recent examples of a long-term trend favoring conservatives and their beloved corporate fascism that began in earnest with the deeply satanic Reagan administration.

Other than yelling, I really don't see anything we can do about this. Just be glad you're not young (unless you are).

11. Gotta hand it to the right...for at least 50 years they have created
Edited on Fri Jan-22-10 08:49 AM by alsame
divisiveness among the American people, causing subgroups to hate their fellow citizens.

So now, when we should all be united against the real enemies that threaten all our lives, we get people gloating about the loss of democracy because they perceive it as a political loss for the left only.

Divide and conquer worked quite well.

16. This guy is an idiot
1) They CANNOT contribute directly to a campaign, so Sarah's war chest is not going to benefit

2) Last time they pulled a little stunt like this, it bit them in the ass. There are a lot of democratic companies and producers etc. If it comes to campain movies, etc. I would actually give the edge to the dems.

3) I am from Alaska and remember when Sarah was just a mayor. She is a dolt. This is NOT a great week for America.
