5. People still have to be unhappy enough to actually revolt...
The poor don't have the money or the education and are too easily led by right wing myths.

The middle class are so mired in consumerism that relatively few would give up the pursuit of the next cool thing and the wealthy lifestyle.

The affluent will are part of the problem.

At this point, if nothing is done, then November will see Congress and the Senate purchased by corporations. How long will someone like Kucinich last if he is outspent 10 to 1 by an opponent, if corporations can buy up every moment of advertising time.

I have felt that the U.S. has been on life-support since the Bush Coup in 2000. This decision seems to have been the declaration of death.
