I mean, since they're PEOPLE and all that, they should enjoy all the perils as well as the fruits of personhood, doncha think?

They never would be missed...

5. That's the best thing I've read all day. We should march to have Goldman indicted for murder!
That's a legal redress now that Goldman's a legal person with unlimited free speech, and Lehman was a legal existing person with unlimited free speech, and Goldman killed Lehman dead. Murder!

11. And aren't the CEOs just organs of this corporate person? And don't organs die when the body dies?
So if we execute the corporate body, I think we should execute the CEOs. Hmm. The Lehman execs (organs) weren't killed by Goldman Sachs, though. So now they're like weird organs without bodies roaming the earth. Maybe we better kill them too, you know, to ensure the law makes sense.

12. There's a difference between driving someone into bankruptcy and killing them
There is no legal penalty charged to a creditor who drives a debtor into bankruptcy.

Goldman may have been partially responsible for driving Lehman into bankruptcy, but Goldman didn't kill Lehman. In fact, Lehman, or at least parts of Lehman, are still alive.

They're always looking for a chance to apply it swiftly and resolutely. Here's their golden opportunity!

capital punishment, I think we should take the entire upper management and give them life without parole.
