Time to stop panicking and get to work
Sure, it's hard to beat big money, but if we work hard enough we can do it and if we show them just once that people power can trump big money, this entire decision will be a thousand times less sharp. If we sit around coming up with doomsday scenarios, the corporations will win.

2. Best first steps?
I talk a lot about achieving a sense of localized sustainability but not clear on what the details of that might be looking like. Food, utilities, manufacturing, education are the things I think about and how those kinds of things can be brought from 'the ground up'.

Hope is hard to have and harder to let go of.
