... against each other?

How long until McDonalds buys enough politicians to outlaw "The Whopper"? Or, Walmart outlaws the stocking shelves with products that don't qualify as "Sam's Choice"? When will Exxon be declared the only oil acceptable for use in the US?

The possibilities are endless.

4. With the Supreme Court ruling today, all but most-chaste Democrat politician is now

an easy target of the highest corporate bidder who needs legislation that benefits that company.
If he/she doesn't accept the bribe, the corporation will simply finance an opponent that will
beat the Democrat in the following election.

For that matter - do you think the majority of Congressional Democrats have Progressives' best
interests at heart? I question that logic to the Nth degree. Only a handful really do.

I hate to be so cynical, but looking at the shitty HCR Bill that came
out of the Senate, with all the corporate payoffs & bennies, how can I possibly think
anything else?

Corruption in the Democrat Congressional ranks was running rampant before today's Supreme Court ruling.

Now, either the Democrat accepts the bribe, or will go the way of the Dodo.

7. Nah, first laws to go will be anti-trust related.
The big corps will collude to protect their existing market share against the new start-ups. No regulation, no problem! We'll probably end up with a half dozen companies running the whole show. A privatized version of a command and control economy.

8. Uh, take a little jaunt to K Street.
Up to now it's basically been done behind the scenes. The Supreme Court has now authorized that the puppet-string marketplace be brought out into the open and that there are no financial limits to influence and power-buying.

10. They already are but if you mean full bore, I guess 10 years or less
They collude more than compete so I'm sure they'll set up ground rules to only screw us.
