Brown's truck is already gone.
He pulled up to the Russell Senate Office Building in a Jeep Cherokee just after 10 a.m., rather than the pickup truck featured in a host of his campaign ads.

2. Big surprise...
It was just a symbol, meant to help him get elected.

I guess it worked.

That's one facade he doesn't need to hold up anymore.

3. brown is just another 6'-5" Mr America guy. The kind of guy that's
always the ASB president & CEO later on. He got the royal treatment on Capitol Hill today by the other Mr. Americas.

7. Reasons like... It was a prop in a giant fucking charade perhaps?
Why are you defending this idiot anyway? Is he an ex-cop or something?

8. No not really, it was a huge symbol, it made him the every guy.
If it was good enough to drive around Massachusetts and it was for real, he should be driving it in Washington.

Your defending him? Hmm, I wonder why.

9. lol probuably becasue i can understand why he wouldnt drive it around washington
i dont take my truck into DC and i got lots of neighbours who work in DC and suburbs who take their smaller vehicles into towna nd leave the pickups at home unless its bad weather. So yes im defending him if he decided that the pickup had to many miles or would be ahassle in town as its not uncommon to do...

12. well i doubt theres any to clear in his dallas home so yes, why continue to do the same thing
when you move to a new area, it wouldnt make sense to have the 4x4 with ice chains and two spare tires, and hi lift jacks etc if you moved fromt eh mountains to a neighbourhood in DC, same as you would no longer need to chop wood for your fire if your new place was all electric :)

13. That's my point. The whole "ranch" was a movie stage.
Clearing brush was an act. Brown's truck was a prop as was Fred Thompson's truck.

Repigs like to cater to pea-brained nit wits who equate ranchers=John-Wayne=good.
