1. I'm all for half of that
the replacing Tweety half. But at 7 pm people could not and would not concentrate on someone as valuable and mind expanding as Stewart.

12. A lot of people are just getting home at 7 p.m. -- at least out her in L.A.
If you work in a law office or places like that, you work long hours. Impossible to get home before 7 p.m. especially if you want to eat supper in a leisurely manner and then watch Jon Stewart. But then, people who are working and can afford cable usually TIVO a lot, so that really would not be a problem.

I watch on the internet and am not retired (not all that willingly). It would be no problem for me. But a lot of Stewart's audience would be disappointed unless he could somehow get a deal where he could do both Comedy Central and MSNBC (sounds pretty exhausting).

2. Jon wouldn't go.
There's no way NBC would allow him the freedom to do what he does.

I like Jon Stewart where he is.

Seriously I am against anything that could possibly improve MSNBC. I hope that shit network tanks and goes away forever.

10. He'd lose viewership.
Right now he's reaching an audience that typically wouldn't follow him to an all-news channel.
