I say Pixar and "Wall-e" are to blame
Edited on Fri Jan-22-10 09:13 AM by woo me with science
for freeper response to the SCOTUS decision. :sarcasm:

Freepers understand corporate control only from the cartoon version, right? Well, Pixar made corporatocracy look pretty damned attractive to a freeper's tastes.

How ironic that the film shows bloating citizens, when in reality the corporations are shrinking our food packages and escalating the prices.

This SCOTUS decision must be TRANSLATED for the people by Democrats, passionately and loudly. People hear the right-wingers saying constantly that corporations employ them and provide jobs and goods, and that sounds reasonable. We have to more effectively link rising costs, shrinking choices, and the real effects of corporatocracy to their daily lives, rather than assuming that they will make these connections themselves.
