5. Mine did to even though he lost everything in 1930 and ended up as a share cropper
more or less, the person that bought his farm allowed him to stay in the house and continue to farm the land up until that person lost everything in 33 to the banks. Then gramps took odd jobs until moving to a GM town in 1942 to work at the foundry.

6. I'd like to hope that it can get better before it gets better...
... but these days, I'm not so sure. I'm pretty much convinced that hope is unwarrrented when it comes to the education system here, and with the latest trainwreck of a scotus ruling, my hopes for the country as a whole are waning fast... Maybe the courntry will get run into the ground so hard that all the vested interests barnicleing up the ship of state will flee, and let us have our country back...
