I suggest that the Congress pass a law that requires all campaign advertisements to spend at least 25% of the time detailing who is making the advertisements, and the companies/unions/ or individuals behind them.

So, instead of "Center for Responsible Energy Use", it would have to say

"Center for Responsible Energey Use"

The Top 25% of funding for this organization comes from

Royal Dutch Shell
Exxon Corporation
British Petroleum

Possibly the composition of the corporation stockholders would have to be shown, as to foreign ownership.

Again, these would have to be prominantly displayed for at least 25% of the print media, or 25% of the ad time.

Short of impeachment (political impossibility)--post your ideas here.

1. I think Progressives should move in multiple fronts to overturn

the ruling.

Constitutional Amendment
Overturn original "Corporate Personhood" determination
and Full Disclosure Laws

Don't let Corporations think they are going to have an easy time with this ruling what so ever. Personally I favor overturning the original determination that the word "Persons" in the 14th Amendment applies to Corporations.

4. How about some one produce the piece a paper that was waved

in the Supreme court that made the determination "Corporations are Persons" that was NEVER entered into evidence, and was mistakenly recorded

Basically - show me the evidence the Drafters of the 14th Amendment intentionally left the word "Persons" vague to include Corporations

Your idea that disclosure would help keep this fiasco from destroying our system is is a good one, but the conservatives on the court have already signaled that the next thing they will overturn is any requirement for disclosure.

Clarence Thomas said in his opinion that this is "only a start" and that any requirement to disclose would have a "chilling effect" on these corporations' god-given "rights". These justices are insane. They need to be removed as quickly as possible.
