The Supreme Court's recent reckless decision is as much about economic disaster as Free Speech

Corporations exist at the basic level from the money of either the majority of the Public or wholly because of it. Does anyone think that for one moment, that if Exxon or any Insurance Company or Pharmaceutical Company or Telecom Company is "not" going to raise more money for the few individuals at the top of these Companies in order to throw support their Candidate or Agenda, they are hugely wrong.
America is in economic turmoil and struggling. People are loosing their homes and jobs. People are dying. As difficult as the efforts have been of Obama and his Team to attempt to correct this course, it will be for nil now.
In my opinion, the hostile, unthought out and self-serving decision from the SC Five, has endangered this Country beyond repair, endangered the lives of people who they are supposed to represent and protect, while gagging their mouths. They should appear in front of the people of this Country and in front of a commission of the United States for investigation and questioning. And if the President and Bodies of our Government do not put immediate legal stops to this, time will trap this into effect for years to come. That is if our Country (and the Planet) has many.

1. Just like the Dancing Supremes ruling in Bush v Gore

They have shown their corrupt and corporatist bias. No legal precedent will hold this court back from enacting a corporations wet dream.

In this decision, they have made voters lowly slaves to corporate greed. Individuals have a cap on their allowable contributions, corporations no long do. They can't even identify a fetus as a living being but a money hungry monopoly can be declared a person.

The only solution that will get results in time for the 2010 elections is a massive march on DC. Remember how angry you were when the Supremes picked our President for us in 2000? Now, compare that decision to this ruling. Do you see a pattern? Do you really think sitting around talking and writing our elected officials is going to make a difference?

Get up, get out, and protest.

Any "solution" of removing the cap on individual contributions is no solution at all.
