1. I know this is a joke intended to make a point but it doens't really work.

The citizenship requirement for the Senate is simply that you have to have been a citizen for the past 9 years. There's no "natural born citizen" requirement.

The thing that proves that point is no one demanding to see McCain's parents' birth certificates. I had looked up that law that made him a citizen, birth in the Canal Zone in 1930-whatever, and it required that at least one of his parents be born in the U.S.

Yet nary a peep from the birthers to demand that documentation.
