But seriously, it bothers me that so many people seem to believe things just because someone wrote/said or broadcast it. That's how we wind up with teabaggers, Nigerians burning people as witches, George Bush as a two-term president, etc.

it doesn't even have to be GOOD propaganda....look at America, so called land of the free - where people WILLINGLY listen to outright garbage like Fox News - it's insane

Not 100 percent of the time, though. My rule of thumb is about 98 percent. CNN, MSNBC, NBC, CBS, ABC... but yes, Fox is special. I think the most damaging propaganda is the amount of advertising with which we're constantly bombarded. We're largely a country of brainwashed idiots who behave like adolescents most of the time and can't see what is right in front of us. Puppets on a string.
