in order to spend on political advertising, undo the damage of the recent USSC decision?
In essence.. Only an American citizen capable of producing a birth certificate can spend on pol adverts. Since the USSC considers corporations as people/citizens.
The USSC's decision struck down spending limits, mostly imposed under McCain-Feingold. The scope of the USSc's decision is limited to spending limits.

More likely they'd need to show the Articles of Incorporation to see where the company is based.
Hopefully, we'll be able to nip this in the bud with an Amendment of some kind & it won't come to this...

The likely ruling would be that articles of incorporation serve as a "birth certificate" for a corporation.
This isn't the avenue to pursue.

How about finger prints and a photo ID? Drivers license? A real US Passport? Other government issued photo ID?
