Enlighten me! Did Kerry, Gore or Dukakis appear on so many media shows
after they lost their pres elections? Is is just my imagination, or is McCain on everywhere, being asked about everything? I don't remember any ex presidential candidate Democrat being invited on as many opinion shows as McCain seems to be. Is McCain just prepping for his re-election and generally just a pub hog? Why is the media all of sudden so concerned with opposing view points? I guess it is just failed dem pres candidates that are supposed to fade away.

In fact, I seem to remember the media collectively kind of making Gore and Dukakis a sort of joke after they lost. And not just the late night shows, either.

I probably am over sensitive to this stuff. But really...

May be a small part of why the party in power doesn't seem to get their message out and across a lot of the times.

1. The corporate media seeks out Republicans to help them advance their agenda
McCain's just one of many.

3. The current speaker of the house has never appeared on MTP
in quite a while, but Gingrich and McSame have, numerous times.

5. Oh hell no. And the Joke reference is correct too.
After the campaign McCain ran he should of been laughed at an analyzed like they always do to Democrats. But, unfortunately, the rules are different for Democrats and we don't get to redeem ourselves on national television. Perhaps, if people started to complain about this bias, it might end.

7. McCain for the most part is widely respected by both parties and
he is still in the Senate. For years even before the election,
McCain was on the Most Sunday Shows and the Most Frequent Guest.
The Media have always gone to him.
