MA voters did not sit out the 2010 special election
Below are the total votes for governor and Senate races for MA in off year elections. The difference is minimal with the 2010 Senate election having the most votes cast.

1. Voter totals are MUCH smaller in off year elections. Considering how many new voters there were in
'08, it's disappointing so many stayed home this go 'round.
