Who saw the interview between Matthews and Grayson?
This reporter claims that Matthews shut Grayson up. I question his accuracy because he calls Chris Matthews a liberal. A LIBERAL.

How to shut up Alan Grayson

Someone finally did it. And it was a liberal!

MSNBC host Chris Matthews took apart Grayson last week in a discussion on health care legislation. Grayson insisted Congress still was going to pass a bill, while an incredulous Matthews said he had no idea what he was talking about. Generally, Grayson can bully his way through an interview, but this time he ran into an ego and personality as big as his own. Game, set and match went to Matthews. It makes you wonder how vulnerable he would be if the Republicans could come up with a brand name candidate not scared to death of him.

1. I saw it. Chris did give him a rough time, but didn't take him apart!
My impression, when the interview was over, was Grayson was rather angry, although he hid it well. No SMILE like he usually has, and no jokes, just total disagreement.

3. i saw it. tweety was the bully.
interrupting is not something i watch voluntarily. that's not a debate. Matthews needs to stop interrupting guests. it's awkward, annoying, and unwatchable.

5. So what do you all think about Mike Thomas, then?
Conservative? Democrat or Republican? Or too provincial to know what Tweety is all about?

i just saw the tweety "debate" and got annoyed by the constant interrupting.

4. Tweety needs to stop having guests on and just interview himself..
because that what it boils down to...I'm going to ask you a question, and before you have time to answer it, I'll answer it for you myself..

He hates feminists and, obviously, hates Grayson.

6. Chris Matthews---a liberal??
Who knew?

Matthews was practicing what he does best, screaming incoherently at a guest and talking over them. I'd love it for people to start doing a little b-mod with him by taking off their mics and leaving whenever he starts that crap. He'd quit it in no time.

9. I saw it.
That reporter is full of it. Chris was his usual arrogant, rude self, asking questions, interrupting the answers, talking over Grayson, slobbering, drooling, shouting. Grayson stayed very calm, basically drove Tweety crazy. Grayson definitely had the upper hand. Tweety wouldn't know a liberal if one of us walked up and slapped him.

12. Grayson="bully" And the sky is red.
Grayson is often so soft-spoken this would be laughable, if not one more example of the lies and BULLYING of the right.

13. Tweety is an arrogant little prick - I don't think he is much of a liberal at all -
he seems to love being around powerful politicians of any variety, and he thinks he is the greatest interviewer on TV.

14. I saw it
it made me really uncomfortable. I actually started pacing and thought of turning it off. I hate that type of interview. Matthews was a bully yelling and talking over Grayson trying to tell him he knew more about passing legislation than Grayson did. It wasn't an interview more of a mugging. A missed opportunity too. I would have liked to hear Grayson speak.

16. If Grayson is a trial lawyer,
he'll be ready for Matthews the next time.

Why doesn't anyone ever interview Matthews?

18. I saw it.
Reminded me of my bartending days. Customers who acted like Matthews were 'escorted' to the parking lot.

Matthews is nothing more than slobbering ego. Blecch.

19. What the article fails to mention is that Matthews was wrong.
Also, I didn't think he shut Grayson up, I thought they had an open exchange and a misunderstanding regarding HOW reconciliation will be used in passing HCR.
