Would you support extending the Bush Tax Cuts if it ensured Democrats would keep control of Congress

If the Democrats can take away some of the Republicans issues this would help them politically. The tax issue is one of them. What would they be able to complain about if the tax cuts were extended and a commission to reduce the deficit (which is supported by lawmakers on both sides) were put into place.

The deficit hawks want to take our money and give it to Wall Street or just pass it on to the gubermint general budget and do away with our hard earned money that we put into Social Security.

in other areas in which they are better than the Republicans i.e. the environment, education, foreign policy.

Both parties are responsible for the Social Security and Medicare trust funds being looted. I know there is supposed to be a surplus but it isn't there in reality.

There are about 40 Conservative Democrats in the House. The House is 50-50 Conservative Liberal and the Senate is about 53-47 Liberal.

I want the Democrats to stay in power because they are better in a variety of issues.

The Democrats are better at providing a safety net for the poorest of Americans. The Republicans couldn't care less.

The Democrats believe in using knowledge when it comes to foreign policy. The Republicans believe the answer to every foreign policy problem is to go to war.

Without tax increases the only thing left in that commission's recommendations are going to be stealing our SS and Medicare.
