My Mother, The Car ...
So Property is now People, Huh ?

So. My Car may now donate unlimited funds to it’s favorite candidate.
My Car now has the Right of Free Speech, Why does it stop there ?

Shouldn’t my Car also enjoy all of the Rights and Privileges of every other American Citizen ?

My Car believes that it has been discriminated against !

Therefore the Dept. of Justice should convene an investigation immediately by the FBI into the illegal and immoral Civil Rights Violations that my Car has endured these many years.

Thanks Supremos, My Car needed that .

Any Lawyers out there looking for work ?
This as everyone knows is a pretty republican county and I’d love to see a legal challenge brought right here to start the whole process.

Just read this on a local blog and thought it may have some merit

1. That was a great show.
Sick and twisted in every way, with knobs on.

Regarding your suggestion, cars would make outstanding corporate citizens when compared to what passes for corporate responsibility these days. Ask any CEO you happen to see to spell "Integrity" and see what happens. I'd bet more than a few will say, "What?" Going by the condition of the nation and planet, it's a new concept.

4. Wow, Thanks for the info ... Quote
"In 2002, TV Guide proclaimed it to be the second-worst of all time, just behind The Jerry Springer Show"

That had to be ONE SORRY PROGRAM then :)

11. Just ahead of its time, methinks...
It was weird, no question. Talking cars have since become more acceptable, you know.

17. I can think of a lot worse shows than "My Mother the Car"
The Dukes of Hazzard, for one.

9. I went to school with Randy Whipple...
Hahaha! Weird life, seriously weird life I've led.

He's still cool, but now has a beautiful wife... met up with him again at our 25th high school reunion...

14. Oh my - that is who the Mario Brothers remind me of!
For the rest of the series, Crabtree is pursued by the avaricious Captain Manzini (Avery Schreiber), who is determined to acquire the valuable automobile from Crabtree. In a running gag characterizing his shifty nature, Manzini (who resembles a 1920s silent film villain) always mispronounces Crabtree's name when speaking to him. "Now, then, Crabapple..." "That's Crabtree." "Whatever."

18. Yep, it was pretty bad.
Didn't even last as long as Mr. Ed... I think it was cancelled during first season.

It wasn't sick & twisted at all, it was just dumb.
Jerry Van Dyke would get in a Model T & channel Ann Southern who would give him advice via voice messages.

13. It's pretty outrageous, however it's along the same lines as granting
free speech rights to corporations.
