He's ba--aaack! Conservative radio badboy Michael Savage returns to SF airwaves


Michael Savage, the conservative badboy shockjock whom progressives love to hate, is returning to the airwaves of the Bay Area next week -- with his debut on a local all-sports sports station.

Savage will debut on 50,000 watt KTRB-AM, which is known as XTRA Sports 860 AM, beginning Feb. 1, he says. He was a fixture on KSFO-AM until 2003 and after that on KNEW-AM -- but he was dropped last September after managers said the station was "headed in a new direction."

Savage, a resident of San Francisco, was asked about the change by Chronicle comrade Joe Garofoli in 2009. The radio host's typically tough response: "Why don't you go ask your boss, Mao Zedong?"

At the time, Joe reported the Savage show "ranked 23rd out of 75 in its time slot in the Bay Area market'' in August; the No. 1 station -- all-news KCBS-AM (740 AM) -- had an estimated 666,700 listeners; Savage had 156,300, according to Arbitron. ..........(more)

1. Classic MSM whitewashing of who and what people like Savage/Weiner really are

"Badboy". Sounds so cute and lovable doesn't it? Just a clever little prankster with that mischievous twinkle in his eye.
"Progressives love to hate". Yes, we're all SO thrilled that vile racist hatemongers are polluting this nation with their poison. We "love" to hate them. Kinda like Goebbels being a propagandist the Jews just "love" to hate, or the KKK being "bad boys' in white sheets that black people "love "to hate...
And his "typically tough response..." Yep, no wimpy latte sipping liberal here, but a REAL man with "tough" responses.
Oh and yes, he's a "conservative". How in the hell far down the sewer will someone have to go for the MSM to finally just denounce them as neo-nazis or at least as blatant hate-mongering racists? My guess, unfortunately is that the point of no return may have been passed and the MSM will never do that anymore , because to recognize this wouldn't be fair and balanced. I truly believe if Hitler were around now, the MSM ( and not just Fox, but all the networks etc) would be referring to him as a "controversial conservative".
