Report: Sen. Coleman Injured Dumpster Diving

http://wcco.com/local/local_story_029130007.html

(WCCO) U.S. Sen. Norm Coleman (R-Minn.) injured his forehead two weekends ago dumpster diving, a Washington Post blogger is reporting.

Mary Ann Akers said in her "The Sleuth" column Friday that the Senator returned to Washington D.C. last week with a "prominent gash" on his forehead. Coleman was reportedly knocked nearly unconscious while dumpster diving in St. Paul.

Coleman defended his actions, telling Akers he was not digging for food, rather was "looking for something his wife accidentally threw in the dumpster." Coleman later elaborated he was diving for an antique lamp in the dumpster behind his St. Paul home, which is being renovated.

(end snip)

So, let's talk about his house, shall we? (/extreme sarcasm off)

1. Remember when his 81 year old dad was busted for having sex at the pizza joint?
... this past summer?

On Tuesday, the 81-year-old father of Sen. Norm Coleman (R-Minn.) was cited for lewd and disorderly conduct after police arrested him allegedly having sex with a 38-year-old woman in a car outside a pizza joint.

Police picked up Norman Bertram Coleman Sr. and the woman, Patrizia Marie Schrag, Tuesday evening in

downtown St. Paul outside the Savoy Inn pizzeria, according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press.

4. Dumpster diving is only wrong if you do it to get food
it's those hungry people who are bad, not our senator.

5. As I've mentioned on a couple other threads, rodent are often found
digging in dumpsters so it's hardly surprising that Norm would be found in one.

However, it is my personal opinion that the truth may be that while Norm's gash is indeed the result of his wife throwing a lamp, she probably wasn't throwing it into the dumpster when she hurled it.
