The Congress must hold hearings to investigate the O'Keefe wiretapping scandal
Edited on Tue Jan-26-10 08:14 PM by bluestateguy
You all know darn well that if the Republic Party controlled Congress and some pissant kid was busted trying to wiretap the offices of Focus on the Family or the Heritage Foundation, the hearings would be scheduled within a matter of hours.

The Congress must investigate who sent Mr. O'Keefe, what he knows, when he knew it, and who is paying him.

And there should be no immunity for anyone either.

1. Stan Dai
I recognize that name from somewhere.

I think he's the one they need to focus on.

It's a hunch. My hunches have a decent record.

7. Yep, I knew about his fascination with antiterrorism
and flirtation with the CIA. That latter connection is the one they need to follow up on.

This operation was amateurish to the point that O'Keefe must have insisted on planning it (he likes costumes). However the technical assistance was from Dai and I'd really like to know who set it up, who put the two of those guys together.

My feeling is that Dai is a lot more competent than this silly ass stunt would suggest and that he's the one they need to concentrate on. Pull a thread an you soon begin to see where it leads in the rest of the web.

4. The GOP would have a show trial...
..if they had control of Congress.

Yup, we should most certainly investigate this. Not make a huge deal about it at first in case it really is just 4 idiots acting on their own, but definitely hold hearings.

It is possible to walk into any outfit and find dumbass people to record and make the whole organization look bad. O'Keefe got some bad apples at ACORN, now we can see that O'Keefe is a clear criminal (felon) and a dirtbag himself. Yes, we already knew that, but now it needs to be publicized so the rest of the country can see it too.

5. I think the Democrats set him up
as a payback for the Acorn story.

No need to look into this. It's just a left-wing political hack job. Wonder if there are any new reality shows or missing blondes around.
