I don't want to "pick a side". I spend some time in both camps.
On some days, I try very hard to support President Obama and the Democrats because, yes, they are immeasurably better than the alternative on many issues.

On other days, I am so disgusted, so disappointed, so ashamed that I just want to say "To hell with them!"

Today, I'm in the "disgusted" camp. I just can't find even a half-assed excuse for the anticipated "spending freeze". That, and other apparent concessions to Wall Street make me wonder why any working person would be enthusiastic about voting Democratic any time soon. I wonder, also, why the opinion of Joe Lieberman or Ben Nelson---or Scott Brown---gets more attention from those in the White House than the opinion of Weiner or Sanders or nearly 100% of organized labor.

But, I am willing to listen to those who are in the "support our president" mode.

I can't escape the conviction that a leader could bring us together. Do we have one?

1. A strong leader could have brought us together.
And it's not too late, even now.

4. One can't be for the elitist moneyed corporate interests
and also for the interests of the millions of average hard working working Americans. That creates a major conflict of interest and that's what I see from the DLC run Democratic Party. They want the votes from average working Americans but the money from the rich.

The old Democratic Party was for 95% for American workers. The new Party obviously has some reservations about their loyalties based upon the many appointments that they've made and the policies they have.

The people of the USA will soon start kicking out politicians of both parties until either they see one that unilaterally supports Americans, or one that controls the wiretaps and electronic votes, and then we will have fascism.
