Breitbart: I Pay A Salary To Alleged Landrieu Plotter O'Keefe
Justin Elliott | January 27, 2010, 9:03AM

Conservative new media figure Andrew Breitbart revealed last night on Hugh Hewitt's radio show that he pays a salary to James O'Keefe, the filmmaker who was charged yesterday in an alleged attempt to tamper with the phones of Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-LA).

But Breitbart, who runs the Big Government site where O'Keefe's now-famous ACORN sting videos were posted, is maintaining that he had no "connection to" the incident at Landrieu's New Orleans office.

1. I'm guessing Breitbart financed the whole thing
and Flanagan knew.

Watch for charges to be brought against Breitbart in the next couple of weeks.

4. I think whoever Flanagan works for, financed it.
I don't think it is wise to just concentrate on the clown of the week. I think he is cover for the others involved.

6. Flanagan worked for the Pelican Institute
Could be.

I'm still betting Breitbart was the money man.

9. Flanagan's daddy is acting US Attorney for Western District of Louisiana
New Orleans is the Eastern District of Louisiana and Letten is the US Attorney there.

Flanagan will walk, but in order to let him walk O'Keefe, Dai, and Basel have to go down because Flanagan testifies against them.

8. These tactics have Karl Rove's name all over them
This is simply more of the same by the Rove cabal. And Flanagan's father is one of them. Trying to further their agenda of burying democrats whose seats might be in danger. More from the dirty tricks guys who care nothing about our country, only power and money.

12. His only contribution so far has been the Acorn stuff. Why put him on salary?
The Acorn stuff happened when? Last Fall? As far as I can tell, this is all Breitbart has received from O'Keefe as a paid contributor: http://biggovernment.com/author/jokeefe/

Seems odd to continue to pay someone when he hasn't delivered anything in months and then act surprised by this new development. Either Breitbart knew and kept paying, or he didn't know and...what? Kept paying him without knowing what he was doing next or even if he was working on anything at all? Must be nice to have THAT job. :eyes:

I call bullshit.

quite a few banks probably have, like the one I use, where you can request copies of your canceled checks ... since, in a "cost-cutting" move (allegedly for "personal security" issues, where "thieves" could steal your canceled checks from your mailbox), banks made it so they keep electronic copies of the checks ... and to get a copy of one, you have to pay a fee ...

edited to add:

So ... the bank could get a visit or phone call from the investigators about checking the payments of said checkwriter to said alleged felon ...
