The proposed repeal of DADT is just now being discussed on TV as the "bone" to be thrown to the Left to placate us.

The overall message is going to be that, for the most part, their policies are just fine, they just need to communicate them better.

Have we come all this way, knocked on all those doors, made all those phone calls, packed all that SHIT from the teabaggers without throttling their sorry asses and patiently waited while the president courted Blue Dog and Republican extortionists to settle for a spending freeze and an additional call to PLEASE end discrimination against gays?

I sure hope the talking heads are wrong this time, but I'm still hearing way too much talk from "Democrats" about striving for bipartisanship, to expect anything but wishy-washy namby-pamby---"can't we all just get along" BS.

I really can't bring myself to watch. It's SOS, doing the business for the right as usual. My husband is going to watch and he will break it to me gently since he knows there will be a string of cussing coming from my lips. Long words with lots of consonants which are usually adverbs or action verbs. Those are really the best cuss words to get through a mingy situation. I swear by them, no pun intended.

That, and several other "no-brainer" type campaign promises should have been accomplished months ago.

What I meant is that JUST that, without more, while we continue to follow Bushian policies and favor Wall over Main Street, is nothing more than appeasement. I understand how important the issue is, but that is even more reason why it should have been accorded the dignity of being done BECAUSE it was right; not thrown out as a "sop" for "those crazy libs".
