12. Actually, he challenged the repugs to show him a better plan. He

said he wqas eager to hear it. He also said he is beginning weekly meetings with "leading" repugs, and joked to them that "I know you are looking forward to that" Also said that if the repugs are goig to insist on 60% vote required to do anything, then they need to accept their share of responsibility as well.

9. He kicked some ass, but he also, very surprisingly, used (R) language

no new taxes (said it in a different way but the same idea), offshore drilling, globalism and freeing up global competition, a huge push for nuclear energy, cuts to domestic programs but military not to be touched. It was definitely a move to the right, or at least an appeal to get moderate Republican support. But if we just become like them, what good is it?
