Their pretending that they are for healthcare reform, deficit reduction, job creation, and whatever they think the American people will buy has hit a brick wall. Nobody should believe a word they say. The President was right. They obstruct and block things that could help the American people just because they can. They don't really give a shit.

minor local inconsequential repuke on the local ticket usually some one I know WAAAY!!! down the food chain that way I can say that I didn't vote a straight party ticket just because they had a D next to their name

10. The last half way decent Repub Pres was either Poppy Bush or Gerald Ford

and Poppy Bush was only good on foreign affairs - he sucked on the economy which is why Clinton kicked his ass in 1992.

Reagan really sucked and Junior Bush was 10 times worse.

Gerry Ford was at least a decent guy who believed in the rule of law and by modern standards he was WAY too moderate for the GOP.
